But you give the tip at the end of the meal... therefore the spitting already happened, and you just paid for it

Chickoo Fredz

I never understood tipping thing... Its like "i enjoyed your food here, here is my money to cover expanses of what i ate, and all other expansess this place had to make me this service, and here is a money for you because your boss is cheap bastard."

John Clark

And because the staff isn’t paid what they deserve which is a disgrace

Hoymond Louie

A tipping culture is bad for workers and bad for the economy.

Carlos Hankins

Because your capitalism fails you and you pay workers shit

Kaori Miyawaki

You tip because your service workers don’t get payed, which is on itself absolutely appalling

Carol Lynn Edelmann

"we tip in usa because or system is too shitty and workers don't get paid by their employers"

Mian Sohail Farooqi

It's okay USA, many third-world countries are unable to provide basic human needs to their inhabitants. It's not like you're the wealthiest country this planet has ever seen.

Vera Chang

Why can't you fucking meme?!

Janie Riddle

We just accept that there might be some spit, there might not, but food is food. #JustThirdWorldCountryThings

Vanu Vekaria

You tip in America because your waiters get paid 2$ an hour

Aakanksha Roychowdhury

This post is evidence that american people are stupid. How would the waiter spit in your food if you paid and tip AFTER you eat the food?

Fidza Hamdan

Everyone else just pays them an appropriate amount. And don't treat them like servants.

Evangelist Folarin Abimbola Ajasco

As a server I can 100% say I think tip culture is bullshit

Jeff Hart

If you want more money then look for a better job. I tip because of good service. Bartenders remember who tips and who doesn't.

Lori Ann Whitaker

If i was afraid, service would be so bad to spit in my food i wouldnt eat there..,,, says a lot about your people

Linda Poodledog Taylor

yeah, but you tip AFTER you get your food though, so how can they spit in your food, do they do it when they've put down the plates, or do they have a timemachine? And if they did, then why would they use it to spit in your food for not getting a tip, instead of getting a lottery ticket and win the jackpot?

Mohammad Zeeshan Faiz

tipping pure bs

Watonia Downing

So you want 14$ an hour for a minimum wage job? don’t blame the customers for you bad decisions.
